How you earn

Get paid for Caribbean content, four ways.

Free to join, with no listing or monthly fee. You earn when your content sells, plays or carries ads.

A creator lines up her camera on a steelpan player in her home studio, with a ring light and a live-stream screen.

Four ways to earn

Pay-per-view and on demand

Live events, replays, on-demand rentals and series passes, priced from the PulseTV ladder.

The subscription and pass pool

Shared each month by qualified watch-minutes. A minute counts after 2 continuous minutes on a title, and season-pass minutes count only for the creators whose events are in that pass.

Ticket bundles

When a fan adds your replay or a gifted stream to their TicketPulse ticket, the promoter keeps the ticket and you earn on the stream.

Ad impression tiers

The more qualified ad impressions your channel reaches in a month, the higher the tier it is paid at.

Whatever you make, there is a place for it

  • A chef plates a Caribbean dish on a seaside kitchen set while studio cameras film her.
    Cooking shows
  • Two hosts and a guest laugh together on a brightly lit talk-show set in front of the cameras.
    Talk shows
  • Actors play a scene on the veranda of a painted wooden house while a crew films from a dolly track.
    Drama series
  • A filmmaker on a clifftop at sunrise films twin volcanic peaks rising from a turquoise bay.
    Documentaries
  • A batter hits a six under a sunset sky in a packed Caribbean cricket ground, a broadcast camera in front.
    Sport
  • A steelband orchestra plays on a big outdoor stage at night in front of a large crowd.

Ad impression tiers

Coming soon

What each ad tier pays a channel for the month
Tier Qualified impressions per channel per month Fixed payout Effective rate per 1,000
Tier 1 10,000 US$25 US$2.50
Tier 2 50,000 US$150 US$3
Tier 3 250,000 US$900 US$3.60
Tier 4 1,000,000 US$4,000 US$4
Above Tier 4 Each further 1,000 US$4 US$4

A qualified impression is a video ad in view for 2 seconds, or a display ad 50% in view for 1 second. Each one counts against both the channel and the surface it played on: web, app, TV or embed.

The highest tier your channel reaches in the month is the one that pays. Impressions below Tier 1 roll forward for up to 3 months. Ads are on by default for new channels, and you can opt any channel out.

Who sets the price

  • You pick a tier from the ladder for replays, on-demand titles and series passes.
  • Our Sales team assigns the tier for live events, against published criteria.
  • Nobody types a price. Every offer points at a tier, so viewers get fair prices and nobody undercuts anybody else.
  • Earnings belong to your Studio organisation, not to one person.
  • New earnings are pending at first, then become available after the settlement window.
  • Request a payout of any amount from US$50 of your available balance.
  • A refund or chargeback reverses the earning it came from.
  • Payouts are made through the TicketPulse payout engine.
